Silandyl Dosage and Strengths
Take Silandyl exactly as prescribed, usually around one hour before sex. Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours.
Open the sachet just before use and place the film directly on your tongue. Allow it to dissolve, then swallow normally. Do not chew the film or swallow it whole. Water is not required.
You still need to be sexually aroused for Silandyl to work.
Can I take Silandyl with food?

Do not take Silandyl with nitrate medicines or nitric oxide donors, such as glyceryl trinitrate (GTN). Taking them together can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. You should also not take Silandyl with riociguat.
Tell us if you have heart problems, low blood pressure, liver or kidney problems, certain eye conditions, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, or a condition that can cause prolonged erections.
You should also tell us if you have recently had a heart attack or stroke, or if you have been advised that sexual activity may not be safe for you.
